Co-Founder and fearless leader of the PopBase team, Lisa Wong has over 25 years of experience as an artist, art tech, researcher, and consultant for video games. Her resume includes multiple Star Wars titles (LucasArts), NBA titles (2kSports) and Call of Duty (Activision), as well as R&D for Sony Playstation (Playstation Move). Prior to putting together the PopBase team, Lisa acted as the Creative Director for Empty Clip Studios and led her own consulting firm, Bringing the Chips, serving high profile clients like Apple, ZS Associates, and Google.
Amit spent his early career as an animator, director, and award-winning filmmaker. He acted as the president of Ten Forward Productions where he produced work for Cartoon Network, HBO, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Hallmark, and more. He then ventured into the world of software development and production, which led him to work as a business development executive for the veteran Socal game developer Empty Clip Studios, before co-founding PopBase and acting as the company's CCO and product lead.
Before founding PopBase, Richard has worked in the games industry for over 20 years. Starting work on the first wave of CD titles for Psygnosis and Sony, he moved onto writing game engines for other studios including LucasArts. He co-founded Total Monkery where he acted as the Technical Director creating original games as well as providing services in the gaming, training and VR fields.
PopBase's Chief Information Officer, Michael is a veteran of the IT industry, with an M.B.A with special coursework in technology and entrepreneurship. Michael has large data infrastructure projects under his belt, including migrating the state of Alabama's tax databases, upgrading the US Air Force's Combat Ammunition System, and leading a DevOps conversion for Regions Bank.
